A 29-year-old Brisbane man who drove for a rideshare service has been charged with rape, stalking and coercive control. Police say the charges relate to three women, between 2020 and 2025. The charges have not been proven in court.

What Police Allege
Police allege the man connected with a 27-year-old passenger on social media after driving her home in June 2025. They say he later went to her house on 20 July and sexually assaulted her. In a separate case in November 2024, police allege he sent many messages to a 21-year-old passenger and threatened to go to her workplace.
Police also allege that in 2020 he assaulted a woman he was in a relationship with. They searched a Ferny Hills address in November 2025 and seized phones and a laptop.
Police Appeal
Senior Sergeant Robert Lowry said: “We do believe from the information we have got that there are probably other women out there that have experienced this behaviour by this driver.” He said the man no longer drove for that rideshare service. Anyone with information should contact police.
