Iconic Australian rock band AC/DC is set to return to their home soil later this year, marking their first Australian tour in a decade.

The legendary group will bring their 2025 POWER UP Tour! to major stadiums across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide in November and December.

Supporting them on the Australian leg of the tour will be Melbourne punk rockers Amyl and the Sniffers, following AC/DC’s performances across the US and Europe.

AC/DC Announces 2025 POWER UP Tour in Australia After a Decade

AC/DC is scheduled to rock the Melbourne Cricket Ground on November 12, followed by Accor Stadium in Sydney on November 21, the BP Adelaide Grand Final on November 30, Optus Stadium in Perth on December 4, and will wrap up their tour at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on December 14.

Tickets will go on sale this Thursday, June 26, and Ticketek has urged fans to be ready, as demand is expected to be extremely high.

Fans aiming to secure tickets are advised to update their information on the Ticketek app and to use only one device and browser when accessing the ticketing system on the day of sale.

Legendary Band Set to Rock Major Stadiums Across Australia

The Ticketek Lounge will open one hour prior to the official ticket release time for each city.

Melbourne tickets will be available from 1pm AEST, Sydney at 9am AEST, Perth at 1pm AWST, and Brisbane at 11am AEST.

Adelaide tickets will not be sold via Ticketek; instead, they will be available through Ticketmaster from 10am ACST.

Ticket prices start at $132.45 for B-reserve seating and go up to $407.70 for premium A-reserve seats.

Meanwhile, Melbourne City Council is planning to submit a proposal for the band to recreate their legendary “It’s a Long Way to the Top” music video, originally filmed on Swanston Street in 1976.
