The 53-year-old then continued her travels in Slovakia, a place Catriona said she’s long been waiting to travel to.
The Danube has delivered us to Bratislava in Slovakia, a country I could only have dreamed of visiting when at school, as it was hidden behind Communism and the Iron Curtain,” she explained.
In her review of Bratislava, Catriona noted she’d officially been converted to Marzipan coffee after sampling it for the first time and was delighted by the beloved Blue Church “otherwise known as the Smurf Church.
But there was one part of Catriona’s Bratislava trip that had the TV host feeling a little reluctant.
I was a little shocked to walk through the narrow street where locals refused to tread as it was where ‘the Executioner’ once lived,” Catriona said.
People have always avoided the narrow street called Baštová Ulic fearing something horrible would happen to them.
We would be scared too!
Fans flocked to the comment section of Catriona’s posts to marvel at her travels.
Lucky you! It’s gorgeous,” one wrote.
While Catriona replied: ”Very grateful for my job & the support of @scenic.luxurycruisestours & @getaway (just being honest).
There’s more to come of Catriona’s Danube River Cruise. Next stop Vienna!
