The first glimpse of Margot Robbie’s Barbie is out!

We’ve been interested in Margot Robbie’s newest project for some time ago, and now we’ve seen an image of the actress playing Barbie that appears to be a natural role.

Warner Bros, who are the company that produced the film, have released the image showing Margot playing Barbie wearing the car with the pink color we all wished for when we were just five years old.

While Barbie is often associated by pink Margot is still looking every as her doll-like blue, and has colorful clashing prints on her headband and her top.

The first glimpse of Margot Robbie’s Barbie is out!

It is reported that the Australian Megastar is filming and producing her new project through her company LuckyChap and has an all-star cast.

With stars like America Ferrara, Kate McKinnon, Simu Liu, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, and Michael Cera joining her, we have pretty optimistic expectations for the film.

There is a rumor the possibility that Margot has been involved in the project since 2018 after an attempt at adaptation directed by Amy Schumer failed to get off the ground.

“I think it’s a great opportunity to put some positivity out into the world and a chance to be aspirational for younger kids,” Margot stated in the year 2019.

“Playing with Barbie promotes confidence, curiosity, and communication throughout a child’s journey to self-discovery,” she stated in a press release.

“Over the brand’s almost 60 years, Barbie has empowered kids to imagine themselves in aspirational roles from a princess to president.”

She also stated that creating the film of Barbie “comes with a lot of baggage … and a lot of nostalgic connections.”

“But with that comes a lot of exciting ways to attack it,” she explained to British Vogue.

Greta Gerwig is taking on the role, and Noah Baumbach also joining her as director.

Greta is well-known for her work in the recent movies Lady Bird and the 2019 version of Little Women, both of which feature Saoirse Ronan.

Noah Baumbach is her husband and co-director with whom she made the film in 2019 The Marriage Story in which were Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver.

The film received a wide range number of prizes, among them the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Laura Dern.

With their director’s skills with their directing skills, we’re sure that Barbie will be a memorable film.
