Woman Charged with Attempted Murder After Brutal NSW Blue Mountains Stabbing

A woman has been charged with attempted murder following the stabbing of two men at a residence in the NSW Blue Mountains last week.

Police responded to a property on Myall Avenue in Leura around 7:30 am on Sunday, August 24, where they discovered two men suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Suspect Charged with Two Counts of Attempted Murder

Both men were transported to the hospital and are currently recovering after undergoing surgery.

A 67-year-old woman, who police confirmed was acquainted with the men, was discovered unconscious at the scene and taken to another hospital, where she is still being treated.

Both Victims Undergo Surgery and Remain in Recovery

After conducting an investigation, police arrested the woman at the hospital yesterday and charged her with two counts of attempted murder.

She has been denied bail and is expected to appear in court today for a bedside hearing.
