According to a statement from the Rosemont Public Safety Department in Illinois, investigators found no surveillance footage to support her claim that her drink was tampered with at the Rosemont DoubleTree hotel bar on November 23.

The department noted that although cameras captured Reid at the bar, the video showed no moment where anyone interfered with or added anything to her drink.

Police confirmed that a bartender covered Tara Reid’s drink when she stepped away, noting this is standard procedure.

Authorities are still awaiting the 50-year-old actress’s hospital records and will pursue any necessary leads once they receive them.

The department added that they cannot yet verify what specific chemical tests the hospital may have performed.

They said they are working with Reid to obtain the records, which she also has not received, and that detectives will continue their follow-up once those results or any new information becomes available.

The statement concluded that authorities have found no evidence of any criminal activity and are not investigating any individuals at this time.

Footage also captured paramedics arriving at the hotel and transporting the actress on a stretcher through the lobby to a waiting ambulance.

In her statement, Reid said she believed someone was attempting to extort her, claiming they could prevent the videos from being released.

She added that the person told her she had only consumed one drink and that she had called security on him, which she felt confirmed her belief that she had been drugged.

Reid said this was enough for her to pursue prosecution. She has not yet responded to the police’s latest findings.
