Triple Olympic gold medallist Jess Fox disclosed that she underwent surgery last week to remove a tumour from her left kidney.
Fox carried the Australian flag at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony before securing two gold medals.
Jessica’s health and recovery are our top priorities, and while she focuses on getting better, she will not compete in ICF World Cups 4 & 5.
During the Games, she was also elected to the IOC Athletes’ Commission as one of four new members, a role she will hold through to the Brisbane 2032 Olympics.
